In addition, the indoor weather gauge display provides a hyperlocal forecast 12 hours from your current conditions, which is calculated by using the display’s built-in barometer and the data collected by the wireless outdoor sensor in your yard. The outdoor weather station with rain gauge measures conditions and relays the data to the display, so you’ll know what it is like out in your backyard without even having to go outside! With all your hyperlocal weather data on an easy-to-read display, you’ll be able to boast to your neighbors that you have the best weather station! </p><p>The remote weather station uses solar power to regulate internal temperature for more accurate temperature measurements, which can be sent — along with the other weather data — from up to 330 feet (100 meters) away using a 433 MHz wireless signal. The indoor weather station is AC powered and takes three (3) AAA batteries (not included) for optional backup in case of a power outage.
